One Day French Cooking Course

The 1 Day French Cooking Courses are on request only, with a minimum of 4 participants

Classes begin at 10:00 a.m.

We will first get familiar with my french country kitchen then put on our aprons and get cooking.

During the 1-day program we will have a morning cooking session to prepare a light but delicious lunch of french classics such as a salad Endives aux Noix et Roquefort, Vinaigrette, Cheese Souffle with Ratatouille and Baked Cognac Peaches or a Flourless Chocolate Cake served with Creme Anglaise. Recipes always depend on market availability and freshness.

After enjoying lunch on the terrasse overlooking the fountain, you will have a break where you will be able to discover the gardens, wander by the river, or just relax by the fountain. We will put our aprons back on at 15:30 and begin preparations for an elegant 4-course dinner.  Examples of dinner fare are: Foie Gras en Papillote de Choux, Mousseline de Choufleur, Canard aux Champignons, Sea Bass in a Croute de Sel (salt crust), Braised Endives, Gratin Dauphinois, Cheese platter with Salad, Tarte-Tatin served with home-made Vanilla Ice-Cream and Dark Chocolate Mousse.

 
 After a short break and a champagne cocktail in the salon, dinner will be served in the château dining room. The table will be elegantly set with beautiful linens, candelabras and porcelaine service.

 Price includes all food and beverages. Meals are served with wine and water.
 Transportation and accommodations are not included in this program but we can help you make arrangements on request.
